About Aaron Minks

          I am a freelance photographer currently living in Washington, DC, the abstract image of home manifesting itself wherever I place my feet.  I   am inclined to take things slow, preferably from the seat of a bicycle.  My photos range from the seemingly mundane everyday life most pass by with little more than a glance, to the truly surreal people and places I have had the opportunity through travel to come into contact with.  I strive to be open and aware to the gifts that life brings in every moment.
